This shouldn't be a problem for any computer that you buy today, even a less than 400 one.

Yeah I kinda got that anything would run it nicely now. Do you think it's best to just buy one through like Dell rather than have the trouble of installing and putting together all the shizzle mysizzle?

PS thanks guys :)

Putting it together yourself isn't that much hassle, but you'd need to order a computer toolkit of some kind with small screw-drivers and maybe one of those wriststraps with a crocodile clip to keep you grounded (pretty easy to get off dabs.com or something).

Also maybe some electrical lubricant cos you've really got to shove components into their slots and it can be quite scary when you're brute forcing a 100+ flimsy piece of plastic.

Grounding yourself is pretty easy, touching a radiatior before you start and touching the case throughout working on it works fine, or so i hear :P

Daryl put mine togther in like 30-40 mins but there is the super gay issue of getting ahold of a copy of windows, then updating it. I'm basically using his as my xp product key from laptop didnt work.

Apart from the one time avoidance of that windows verification tool, it works fine for all intensive purposes, unless you have the urge to use wmp 11.

I'm pretty happy with my pc atm, especially as i spent like 1.1k on my crap top at the time. The GFX card was on some kind of deal when I bought it but i guess some parts will be cheaper/ u may wanna get upgrades.

I guess it's up to you, but I mainly got mine built because I had someone to build it with plenty of loadin up all the new pc shizz knowledge.

The point of the wriststrap is that it leaves both hands free and generally enhances your manoueverability.

Also if you want to save some money you could always just download a Linux distro e.g. Ubuntu. You can get Linux alternatives to stuff like MSN, and WINE (which is kind of an emulator but not) will run WoW and most other Windows specific programs that you can't do without.
