I'd like to Josh. But it would be so embarrasing. ;[

Come oooooooon

I already have 823.

The point is, you need to write so damned quickly that style, substance, form and beauty and the lot go out of the window. It doesn't matter how much it lames. It's just a fun challenge.

Already behind, eh? I'd honestly love to write the damn thing, but there's room neither in my life nor consciousness for such excess. That doesn't of course mean that I won't be wanting regular updates as to how you're doing. This is for the team now, Josh.

Oh, there's also a nanowrimo forum over at WF.com, where you can watch the fools paddle in the ocean. Gah, I'm almost persauded myself. Anyone got any prizewinning plot synopsis kicking around?

Well, Josh says the whole point is not to plan it. But when you suddenly start writing about some fucking female hitman with fucking guilt issues, where are you meant to take that?

No-ooo. You need to plan. Just, not get too hung up on beauty and style.
I hit 5,000 words last night which is just about on target. It's going quite nicely. I wrote about 500 words on a Jalfrezi. And then made a Belle and Sebastian reference.
It's pretty damned fun so far.

Fuck you, Josh. And fuck your Jalfrezi.

That's for making us feel impotent.

I'm out.

Have been for a week.

Everyone has a novel in them. Seems mine is only 25,460 words before I lose the drive,

Pshaw.
